In Spring 2028, Sojourners will send twenty-five Black American college students to Europe in cohorts of five, called SOJOs, ready to learn, wander, build friendships, and experience the world together.
As a SOJO, you’ll study abroad with intention, travel with people who see you fully, and return home more alive than when you left. Applications for our inaugural cohort open August 1, 2027.

Sojourners Ambassadors are trusted voices who believe in the mission of Sojourners and help extend its reach through relationships, storytelling, and shared joy.
Ambassadors don’t need access to funding or institutions — they simply help the right people find their way to the program.
